CAR RENTAL PERIOD: The minimum car rental period is 24 hours. The car must be returned within one (1) hour of the agreed time. Additional delays will be charged as a 24-hour car rental.

For categories A, B, C1, D, E, and E1, the minimum age limit is 21 years. For the other categories, the driver should be over the age of 25 (25) years old and the driving license must have been issued one (1) year before the date of the car rental period. In the case that the driver is not a citizen of the European Union, he must have a Greek Driver’s License, a European Driver’s License (for countries within the E.U.), or an International Driver’s License for all other countries not belonging to the E.U.

Car Insurance: In order for the car rental transaction to be made possible, a major credit card (Visa, Master Card, or American Express) is required, even if payment will be made in cash. Kalsiantel22 will reserve the liability amount in case of any damage until the end of the car rental period. The rented car must be returned on the final day of the rental period in the exact condition it was picked up in. It may take up to fourteen (14) days for the deposit to be returned, depending on the type of credit card and bank.

Administrative Expenses: In the case of a car accident, there is a non-refundable charge of €60.

FINES AND VIOLATIONS: The client is fully responsible for any fines and traffic violations and is obliged to pay any fines to the authorities. If he does not meet his obligations, he will be charged the violation fee plus the amount mentioned as "administrative expenses."

INSURANCE AND DEPOSIT: All authorized Kalsiantel22 drivers are insured with civil liability for death, injury, and material damage (the client is not insured with civil liability). Coverage is subject to the general terms of the Kalsiantel22 contract and the insurance company they collaborate with. For any damage or car theft that may occur, the client may be held liable for the total amount of the vehicle’s value during the rental period.

Car Damage Waiver (C.D.W.): Standard car insurance:

For a fee of €12 a day for each day of the rental period, the client will pay an excess of up to €900 for his legal responsibility for any damage to the rental car, provided that he has not violated the "Highway Code". For car categories D, DD, DA, E, H, G1, and G, for a fee of €20 a day for each day of the rental period, the client will pay an excess of a maximum of €1,300 for his legal responsibility for any damage to the rental car, provided that he has not violated the "Highway Code".

For a fee of €30 a day for each day of the rental period, the client will pay an excess of up to €1,800 for his legal responsibility for any damage to the rental car, provided that he has not violated the "Highway Code". The following are not covered: Car rims, car tires, mirrors, antennas, windows, and interior fittings. Under the condition that the damages were not due to the violation of the "Highway Code" (running a red light, running a stop sign, illegal overtaking, drinking under the influence of alcohol, etc.),

Full Damage Waiver (FDW): Full car insurance: this either eliminates or further reduces the client’s responsibility for damages provided that CDW and FDW are part of the cost of the car rental.

For car categories A1, A, AA, B1, B, BA, C, D, and V, for a fee of €8 a day for each day of the rental period, the client will pay no excess.

For car categories, D, DD, DA, E, H, G1, and G, for a fee of €9.92 a day for each day of the rental period, the client will pay an excess of €250. For car categories F1, F, R1, and R, for a fee of €15 a day for each day of the rental period, the client will pay an excess of €550.

For car categories K and K, for a fee of €30 a day for each day of the rental period, the client will pay an excess of €1,500. For car categories, V1, and V2: for a fee of €50 a day for each day of the rental period, the client will pay an excess of €3,000.

Damage to the underside of the car, the rims, and the tires is not covered. Under the condition that the damages were not due to the violation of the Highway Code (negligence, fuel misuse, breach of contract conditions, and damage to tires, mirrors, and lanterns at the bottom of the body as well as inside it),

Theft Protection (T.P.): Theft Protection Coverage is not mandatory. If the client chooses this coverage, his legal responsibility for the stolen rental car is reduced by SK SERVICES. The excess for car theft is restricted to €900 for the car categories A1, A, AA, B1, B, BA, C, CD, and V, and it is set at €1,250 for car categories D, DD, DA, E, H, G1, G, and at €1,850 for categories F1, F, R1, R, K, V1, V2.

The client is not covered in the case of whole or partial car theft which was brought on by negligence (for example, when the car was left unlocked and the car keys were left in the ignition). Car Theft Protection is billed on a daily basis depending on the category of the car.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (P.A.I.): Personal Accident Insurance provides the driver with coverage of up to €15,000 for death, total or partial incapacity, and hospital expenses, as well as €1,000 for medical expenses. Personal Accident Insurance is charged every day.

No insurance coverage is available.

When transporting the car by ship/If the car rental driver is found to be under the influence of alcohol or narcotics/For damage caused by driving on unpaved roads/For damage to the underside, rims, tires, mirrors, antenna, windows

The cost of loss or loss of the car is paid even if the client is insured on his credit card or has third-party insurance. In this case, the client has to pay to SK Services the entire cost of repairing or replacing the car, which he will subsequently claim from his credit card or another insurance provider.

In the event of an accident, the client must fill in the accident form (whether he is responsible or not) according to Article K70 of the Greek legislation.

Any additional driver is charged €5 per day. CHILD SEATS: Available only by reservation. The daily cost is €5.

Available only after reservation. The daily cost is €7/day. Roof Rack: Available only by reservation. The daily cost is €7.

SNOW CHAINS: Available by reservation only. The daily cost is €4 + fuel service charge. The charge is €20.

Cars can be picked up and dropped off at Kalsiantel22 offices in Athens, Thessaloniki, and Mykonos for free. Cars picked up and dropped off at locations other than Kalsiantel22 offices in Mykonos will be charged an additional €20.

Pick-up and drop-off of cars more than 40 km from the nearest Kalsiantel22 offices can be arranged upon request at an additional charge of 0.50 €/km (minimum charge of €40). Pick-up and drop-off of non-scheduled cars (from 21:01 to 07:59) will be charged an extra €24.

Changes in Car Categories: According to car availability, the company reserves the right to provide a different type of car from the initial one offered, either from a similar or bigger car category.

In the event of the removal of license plates during the rental period, the client will be obligated to pay the fine, plus the car rental fees, until the plates are recovered from the authorities.

In Mykonos, car pick-up and drop-off are free of charge. Car pick-up and drop-off in any other place apart from the afore-mentioned will be charged an extra €20.

The client is responsible for the payment of fines incurred due to violations of the "HIGHWAY CODE" during the car rental period. If these fines are not paid by the client and Kalsiantel22 must intervene, there will be an extra charge of €25 in addition to the violation cost.

Fuel service charge: Fuel is calculated in eighths. The car must be returned with the same amount of fuel that it had on pick-up. Failure to do so will result in a charge of €12 plus the cost of the fuel that has been used. Only is not returned or counterbalanced for any additional fuel in the tank.

Any intention to transport the car by ship should be declared by the client on pick-up. A written license from Kalsiantel22 is required with an additional cost of €20 per route. Any damage caused to the rental car when it is transported is not covered by any insurance.

Driving outside the Greek borders is prohibited without the Kalsiantel22 license, as is driving on dirt roads, the transport of heavy objects, and generally any misuse. Charges of up to €98 for biological cleaning are applied to vehicles that are returned with excessive stains inside (stains from food, coffee, hair, sand, etc.) in the seats or on the floor, on the trunk, etc., indicating misuse. In the case of interior damage (burning, tearing of seats), there will be a corresponding charge.

In the event of a cancellation of any reservation fifteen (15) days or less before the rental date, Kalsiantel22 will claim the €10 cancellation fee, and the rest of the prepaid amount will be refunded. For cancellations within a period of fifteen (15) days before the rental date, the prepaid amount will not be returned. The only acceptable method of cancellation is through Kalsiantel22.

The rental fee can be paid by credit, debit, or prepaid card (Visa, Master Card, American Express, or Diners), in cash, with a bank deposit, or PayPal at least 48 hours before the start of the rental. A deposit is required to complete a reservation. It is equal to 20% of the total rental price. An independent credit or debit card (Visa, Master Card, or American Express) is required for warranty purposes. Kalsiantel22 will bear the liability for damage up to the end of the rental.
